Aptent has developed multiple tools and collaborates in projects that through the use of technology, improve the quality of life of people with disabilities.

Teatro Accesible

Teatro Accesible (www.teatroaccesible.com) is a project dedicated to incorporate accessibility measures in the theater in Spain. It was created in 2011 with the support of the Vodafone Foundation, the Nueva Vida Labor Rehabilitation Center and the technology and accessibility company Aptent.

Its work focuses mainly on the adaptation of plays incorporating subtitling, audio description and sign language. It provides equipment to cultural centers with FM systems for hearing aids and organizes inclusive experiences such as touch tours and accessible lectures.

MÍNIMO

MINIMO is a free hearing self-training mobile app focused on speech understanding that can be used anytime, anywhere. It is aimed at hearing aid and cochlear implant users who need to train their auditory discrimination skills by opposing minimal pairs, i.e. words that differ by a single phoneme.

Minimo has evolved into what is now the COPLA platform.

SAAR

SAAR is a comprehensive management tool for theater managers that allows them, through a single device, to have all the elements they need to carry out their work.

Among the main functionalities of this tool are the following:

  • Management of multiple shows and synchronization with the cloud, facilitating work between different team members.
  • Storage and modification of the stage management script.
  • Gestión de pases.
  • Segmentation and categorization of events and inclusion in exact points of the script.
  • Automatic synchronization of the audio of the show with the subtitled script for its broadcast at the venue.
  • Team and delivery contact book.

SAAR was selected as one of the top 5 projects of the Grants for the modernization and innovation of cultural and creative industries through digital and technological projects 2019 and was valid until 2022.
